Ageing Network

UPAN ResearchRESEARCH

Working closely with Research and Knowledge Transfer Services, UPAN intends to fully utilise the expertise, knowledge and facilities at hand within the university, to help support and grow research activities in the field of ageing. The network enables researchers to forge complementary collaborations across both internal and external structures, to support a full range of research activities from student projects to large interdisciplinary projects. We work closely with our local Research Design Service to help develop research funding proposals in health and social care, and promote user engagement in all that we do.

It is hoped that the working groups which emerge from the development of the network ultimately help us to pursue and achieve a series of deliverable objectives, making a difference at local, national and international platforms, whilst also setting the standard of future research used to inform policy and best practice procedures in addressing the 'active ageing' agenda.
