Library and IT
The University Library
We recognise that having an excellent library is important to students. An impressive, modern £11 million extension added 200 more study spaces, seven rooms for group study and 200 new IT spaces. The Library building won 'Best New Building' in the Portsmouth Society's Annual Design Awards in 2007 and a commendation in the 2008 Civic Trusts Awards. We have continued to invest in our physical and digital infrastructure to optimise the Library for study and collaboration.
