Tales of fraudsters concealing classic cars, offshore accounts and Spanish apartments were divulged in a public lecture at the University of Portsmouth Business School last week.

Expert forensic accountant, Kay Linnell, gave the audience a taste of her work involving civil and criminal claims work, dispute resolution, divorce and the investigation of white collar crime and frauds.

With 25 years experience as a forensic accountant Kay has helped expose criminals ranging from a local sports club treasurer ‘cooking the books’ to a fraudster hiding ownership of a £4.5m estate.

Kay’s entertaining insight into her profession aimed to prove the value that forensic accountants bring to investigations. Click here to listen to the full audio of the lecture.
