1. Who we are and what we do

UPIL is a limited company, which is a fully owned subsidiary of the University of Portsmouth. UPIL was formed in 1994 but was dormant until September 2006. The principal activity of UPIL is the provision of student recruitment services in China on behalf of the University. UPIL has no staff directly employed by the company. The UPIL board meets twice a year.
