To celebrate the Year of Engineering and the International Day of Women in Engineering, the Mary Rose Museum and the University of Portsmouth are holding an event for attendees to network, share experiences and discuss the future of women in engineering.

Over drinks and canapés you will have the chance to meet fellow alumni, academics, students and representatives from organisations who are keen to support engineering careers in young women. Take this opportunity to ask questions and join in the discussion on how we can support the next generation.

The event will be chaired by Dr Eleanor Schofield, Head of Conservation and Collection Care at the Mary Rose Trust and will be joined by guests from The Girls Network, Education Business Partnership, The Royal Academy of Engineering and the University of Portsmouth.

The event is free and open to the public. Spaces are limited so please reserve your place. Bookings are open until 5pm on Monday 11 June 2018.

Please note, due to the strict security at the Historic Dockyard, we will require the name of everyone attending and ask that people bring a form of photographic ID to attend on the night.
