The diverse expertise available within the University means that we can support a range of professional development needs for employers across many sectors. Expertise includes areas such as healthcare, business, policing and security, education, property development, law and creative professional practice.

Access our expertise and specialist research and development facilities. You can engage many of our leading academics for specific consultancy work or hire our laboratories, equipment and conference facilities. Many businesses also work with us to engage our bright, enthusiastic students on projects, placements or in volunteering roles.

Recruitment
The University of Portsmouth operates a successful recruitment consultancy service – matching our graduates’ skills with businesses’ needs for permanent, fixed-term and project roles. We also advertise part-time work opportunities for our current students.
