Research and Development

The University undertakes research and development programmes for businesses of all sizes.

Where a company has a specific problem and the funds to engage the University’s expertise directly contract research is usually undertaken. A scope of work is agreed alongside a contract and the work carried out to a specific time-plan.

The University can help pinpoint and direct organisations towards private and public funding which can be used to supplement or fund research and development activity undertaken by the University.  More recently the University worked with BAC2 conductive composites and Rolls Royce on contract research programmes.
