Planning the action you need to take
To bring together all the work you have done so far in planning your career it is a good idea to produce an action plan.
An action plan should include the steps you need to take to get from where you are now to where you want to be in the future.
It should also include a timeframe for what you hope to achieve and details of when you will review your plan. The action plan also needs to be flexible so that it can take into account any changes to your circumstances and you should also have a contingency plan to fall back on. As far as the time frame is concerned it is useful to think of short, medium and long-term goals.
