What jobs would suit me?
In order to find out what kind of jobs would suit you; you need to think about the skills you have to offer an employer, what interests you in a job and what would motivate you. It is not always easy to come up with answers to these sorts of questions. You can begin by using computer-aided guidance packages that guide you through the process, however, you may also want to talk it through with our team offering more support for your career plans.
There are a number of computer-aided guidance packages available (see details below). To make the most of these packages try and be as positive as you can when answering the questions, for example avoid too many answers using a 'don't mind' response. You may not agree with all the suggestions that are made but they can provide a really useful starting point. The questions themselves can lead to ideas and you might want to make a note of questions that you feel strongly about.
Once you have finished take a look at the list of job suggestions and consider which ones interest you and why? Are there any which you would definitely not consider and why? Thinking through your responses in this way will help you get more out of the process.
