What we do
Purple Door Careers and Recruitment provide careers information, advice and guidance; Purple Door Recruitment service; volunteering opportunities and a programme of career-related events for students and graduates.
We work closely with faculties to support and deliver Career Management Skills modules and disseminate the results of the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey.
Purple Door Careers and Recruitment also works with a number of employers to promote graduate opportunities through campus activity, to recruit University of Portsmouth students for volunteering and work experience roles and to place graduates into full-time employment.
For careers advice we offer an ‘E-Guidance’ service to all students and graduates in which Careers Advisers will answer careers-related questions by email, and also a ‘Just Ask’ email service in which we will respond to 'quick queries' and information requests.
