I joined SLAS in September 2016 and I currently teach on linguistics and TESOL related units at various levels. I hold a BA in English language and Literature from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (I.K.Y. award), and an M.Phil. in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland (Graduate scholarship).
I have also participated in Erasmus student exchange programs at the University of Manchester (2008) and in staff exchange programs as a Lecturer at the University of Santiago de Compostella in Spain (2013).
Additional honors and awards include my research studentship for a PhD in the Department of Language and Linguistics, University of Essex, UK. At the same institution, I was working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for 5 years, teaching psycholiguistics, TEFL and general linguistics modules.
I have also taught as an EFL/ EAP lecturer at various universities including the Business school at Imperial College London. During my PhD studies, I have served as an Impact Communications Officer at the UK Data Service in their research methods and case study sector (2014-2015). In 2015, I received the Excellence in Teaching Award (University of Essex) and the Tim Johns Scholarship from BALEAP.
