Solvability and Tikhonov regularization of some variational inequalities in reflexive Banach spaces
Based on the stability results of mixed variational inequalities, some characterizations and perturbation analysis for the solution sets of the Tikhonov regularized mixed variational inequalities are presented. We also discuss the solvability of some perturbed generalized variational inequalities with both the mapping and the constraint set perturbed simultaneously in reflexive Banach spaces, under some coercivity conditions.
Biography: Dr Xueping Luo is from China. She is a lecturer in College of Computer Science and Technology of Southwest University for Nationalities. Her research proposal is optimisation problems with particular interests in variational inequalities theory with applications to traffic and economic equilibrium control problems. She was invited to the Department of Mathematics at the University of Portsmouth as a postdoctoral fellow for a period of 12 months from 20 January 2014 to 19 January 2015. During her visit, she completed two research papers about perturbed variational inequalities under Dr Djamila’s supervision.
