Early Modern Exclusions
A conference aimed at encouraging a reassessment of extant understandings of a broad spectrum of Early Modern communities in the 16th-18th centuries, by redirecting attention to the implied exclusions that form the flip side of all social organisation, and to undercurrents of exclusion anxiety that contrast expressions of social cohesion.
The keynote speaker was Dr Naomi Tadmor (University of Sussex).
The Conference organisers were Dr Rosie Paice and Dr Katy Gibbons, for the Centre for Studies in Literature and the Centre for European and International Studies Research. Please send all enquiries to email@example.com
