What does adjustment mean for me?
Received better results than expected?
Congratulations if you received better results than expected, it’s a great position to be in!
If you’re thinking about using your results to swap course, you can apply for a course at the University of Portsmouth through UCAS Adjustment.
Adjustment is an easy service to use, so if you’re considering applying to Portsmouth, the best thing to do is call our Clearing and Adjustment Hotline on +44 (0)23 9284 8090. An admissions advisor will be able to tell you if you’re eligible for Adjustment and which courses are available, and can help guide you through the process.
How does UCAS Adjustment work?
If you met and exceeded the grades you needed for your firm choice and want to see what other courses you could apply to, you’ll need to register for Adjustment through UCAS Track.
Adjustment opens on A level results day and closes on 31 August, so you can register as soon as you get your results.
You need to move pretty quickly though, because you only have five days after registering to secure a place. If you don’t find a different course, don’t worry as your unconditional place is safe.
If you have any questions about the Adjustment process, we are happy to talk you through it and consider you for one of our courses, just call our Clearing and Adjustment Hotline on +44 (0)23 9284 8090. Make sure you have your personal ID at hand when you call.
You can use the form below to ask us a question, book a call back on results day, or sign up for one of our Clearing visit days.
