The overall aim of the course is to prepare the students for practice as Incorporated Engineers by developing their knowledge, skills and ability to perform technical duties of an established or novel nature in posts demanding a detailed understanding of Electronic Systems Engineering, and to provide them with a sound basis for continuing education.

The BSc is part of the Army training that is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) to an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) standard.
