The six year part-time BSc (Hons) Equine Science programme has been carefully designed to enable students to develop appropriate scientific skills and knowledge to prepare for a career within scientific support and management of the performance horse.

The course team are looking for students who have the potential to develop their academic and scientific skills to succeed on the programme and in the wider equine industry – with a particular focus on the science supporting the management of the performance horse.

You will complete a work placement of four weeks in Year 1/2 and will be expected to keep up with industry developments throughout the course. We will encourage you to select placements that not only develop your skills, but give you the opportunity to experience good practice.
