Country: UK
Mode of study: Part time
Duration: 1 5 years
The post-graduate programme in Supportability Engineering started in 2003 as the first professional qualification of direct relevance and application to the current and future needs of logisticians and their organisations, and has now evolved to provide a progressive programme of professional qualification. Students may enrol at post graduate certificate (PgC), post-graduate diploma (PgD) or Master of Science (MSc) levels and can also upgrade their level at any point in the course of their studies.
The programme is designed with the key criteria of quality, flexibility, and relevance in mind. The programme is offered as a series of residential units taught by subject matter experts, followed by a period of distance learning during which assignments are completed. The programme is aimed at professionals in the defence and engineering sectors and the assignments are therefore linked with the students’ sponsoring organisation.
The programme is accredited as fulfilment of the Master’s level academic requirements of Chartered Engineering (CEng) status by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
