MA Communication and Language Skills
Maria Avgerinou - MA Communication and Language Skills
I decided to come to the University of Portsmouth to study pharmacy five years ago, because all the information that I collected from previous students or newspapers showed that it is a very well organised university with a good standing in the academic world. After I completed the Master in Pharmacy course, I chose to stay for one more year to study the MA Communication and Language Skills.
The MA is a very interesting and effectively taught course. It teaches students how best to communicate and use the knowledge from their undergraduate courses when working in a variety of businesses. I think that it is a Masters which is useful to everyone, no matter what they studied before or where they will work, since it focuses on the effective communication between individuals.
The fact that I've been studying at Portsmouth for five years indicates that life here is not boring. Everything is within easy reach of the University: the shops, sports facilities, libraries, halls of residence. I really like the fact that I can go everywhere on foot with no need to take the bus or taxi.
There are many coffee shops and pubs, a very big cinema and lots of restaurants. Portsmouth has a great seafront where you can go walking any time of the year.
