James Ellis - MSc Information Systems

The Information Systems course is a great way to build on existing computing skills. I found that the course has prepared me for a work environment very well. The combination of hard work and day-long practical assessments are a great way to imitate real-life working practices, build team-working skills and effectively assess a person's capabilities.

I enjoyed my undergraduate degree so much I stayed. Portsmouth is my home now. It's a city, but it is fairly small. There is plenty to do and it is great if you like the sea. And if you want to go out clubbing, London and Brighton are not far away!
