Karen Heard-Laureote
Dr Karen Heard-Laureote is a lecturer in European politics and public policy. Karen has published on transparency and transnational networks and is currently involved in research projects related to legitimacy and efficiency in European public policy and transnational socialisation in committee structures. Karen has worked for the European Commission.
Nancy North
Dr Nancy North has worked in international development and more recently on a Foreign and Commonwealth Office-sponsored programme to improve the regulatory capacity of overseas governments. She is particularly interested in partnership working and participation and is author of the British Medical Association's website unit on consultation and participation.
