What made you decide to come to University of Portsmouth to study?
The course is excellent and that was certainly a priority for me. I was also really impressed by the new Students' Union that I visited on the preview day.
How have you found your course?
All the staff are very approachable, the course is very clear and interesting and the amount of course work I have to do is just right!
How have you found life at the University?
The halls of residence are very good and the nightlife is excellent especially with such a new and impressive Students' Union. I couldn't believe how many clubs and societies there were, there is certainly something for everyone. I'm in the Southampton and Portsmouth University Royal Naval Unit and it is very good.

My course teaches the type of history that interests me and I find it challenging, but manageable. The staff are approachable and helpful. They make it as easy as they can for you to achieve your potential as long as you put the effort in.
There are also plenty of resources available to give you more opportunities to learn and develop. Of course being able to go down to the beach in between lectures in the summer is fantastic and with the city right on your doorstep, you have the best of both worlds in Portsmouth.
