What made you decide to come to University of Portsmouth to study?
'After visiting the University on an Open Day, I was impressed by the broad nature of the course and the opportunity for tailoring it to individual needs; for instance combining technical units like programming systems analysis with business units such as accounting and law. I was also impressed by how approachable and friendly the staff were, and they actually seemed to care about your progress. Living on the south coast close to London and the continent was also a major attraction.'
How have you found your course?
'It was fun! The unit choices provided me with a mix of business and IT tailored to my needs.'
How have you found life at the University?
'Portsmouth has a strange effect on you, before you realise it you love living here. The fact that there are 20,000 students and so many facilities to cater for your needs, combined with the draw of places such as Southsea and Gunwharf Quays make it an ideal place to go to university!'
