What made you decide to come to University of Portsmouth to study?

'It seemed the best City and University that did my course and had brilliant facilities. Also it was more compact than other non-campus Universities I had visited. It also wasn't too far from home.'

How have you found your course?

'My course has been challanging and different from what I expected (in a good way) but all the lecturers have been friendly and very helpful. The facilities are good and the library has a range of facilities available. My department is well equipped with computers and the lecture rooms have video, OHP's and powerpoint screens for presentations, which helps with varied learning.'

How have you found life at the University?

'I love being at this University. I wouldn't want to move because I have settled in well and felt comfortable quickly. I am also learning other things in my course which will be helpful to me later on in my career. The new Students' Union is a good place to go out at night and the societies I have joined, such as the Christian Union, have made me feel very welcome.'
