Entry Requirements: 200 points to include 2 A Levels plus GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above. Overseas direct entry students should have a minimum IELTS band 6.0 (this course is accredited by the British Computer Society)

Ecommerce has rapidly become a key internet application and its continued growth has huge significance for both business and consumers. The focus of this course is on applying the latest computing techniques in order to develop the functionality, appeal and overall quality of the ecommerce experience.
The course aims to equip you with the relevant combination of skills. Areas covered include:
- information systems for the internet
- electronic and mobile commerce
- website design and management
- applicable mathematics topics related to logistics/optimisation
- general business topics including accounting, economics and marketing
Our course also acknowledges the need for ecommerce applications to take into account wider organisational and social issues in order to successfully meet user needs. Therefore, there will be an emphasis on logistics, optimisation and good design.
Professional accreditation
Our campus-based course is accredited by the British Computer Society. Successful students may apply to join the British Computer Society without sitting additional examinations. Please note that this does not apply to those studying this course online.
