The University of Portsmouth's thriving post-graduate research culture offers opportunities spanning English, Film, Journalism and Media subject areas. We have an excellent track record in postgraduate research degrees success with established routes of progression from Masters to Doctoral study, and students have the opportunity to select from a diverse range of research topics including creative and media writing, film, theatre and television, media studies, journalism and English.

The University of Portsmouth Graduate School is a dedicated centre for all postgraduate research students and supervisors.
