Criminal Justice Studies:

BA (Hons) Community Justice

For application form and details, prospective candidates for BA (Hons) Community Justice should apply to the relevant Regional Consortium. Trainee posts are advertised in the national media in March each year. You can lodge a request for an application pack at any time by contacting any of the four consortium offices.

Note: When the advert goes out in March, applicants will then need to apply to Capital Ras who are distributing application packs for the North West Consortium. The address details and reference number for Capital Ras will be in the national and local adverts.

To reserve a place on one of the above programmes, applicants are urged to apply as soon as possible as there are a limited number of places on each award. Students currently studying, and awaiting a result, can be made a conditional offer which will reserve them a place on the programme.

All applicants should apply as soon as possible to reserve a place and ensure adequate preparations are made for the start of your studies. The above date and time is the latest we can recieve an 'on time' application (with all associated documentation).

The courses listed below are work-based learning courses. A description of the structure and content of these can be found in the Partnership Programme Guide for Applicants.

Before making an application, please contact the Learning at Work office on +44 (023) 9284 6261/ 6260 or by email to learningatwork@port.ac.uk. If possible, we will arrange for you to attend an informal interview to receive the detailed information pack and discuss your potential plans for study. Alternatively, we will send the information pack if you contact us for more information.

There are two entries each year ? in early February and late September. Applications must be received no later than four weeks before the start date.

To apply, you will need to complete the Partnership Programme Application Form and a University Application, using the forms and guidance notes below. In spite of the instructions on the University application forms, please do not send your application to the Academic Registry. Your forms should be sent directly to the Learning at Work office using our contact details. If you send the forms to the Academic Registry your application will be delayed.

Contact the Learning at Work office for a Guide for Applicants and to arrange an informal interview (if you are able to attend). The interview should answer many of your questions about study plans and access to support on academic and tutorial matters and, where appropriate, support for disabilities. The office will also send you course handbooks, additional documents and application forms by e mail, or by post if necessary.
