Entry requirements

Normal entry (for the vast majority of candidates) is directly onto Stage 2 with 180 M level credits having been achieved through a relevant Masters Degree.

As the Professional Doctorate has a high level of reflective practice and focus on personal development in your professional area it is essential that you are professionally engaged in one of the many areas of criminal justice.

Doctoral level study will inevitably be a demanding (but rewarding) experience for you in terms of time and effort and you should think carefully about your ability to sustain the necessary momentum over the minimum 4 years of study.
