I had great fun showing families around the facilities during the open days. I have nothing but positive feedback and fond memories of UPDA, which I enjoyed sharing with the potential students. The course sets you up with the knowledge, skills and experience to enter a career in dentistry that will last a lifetime. Along the way you will build on your personal confidence and meet like-minded people of all ages and backgrounds. It is incredible the amount you learn and achieve in just 3 years, it really is life-changing.
Katharine Arnold, Level 6 hygiene/therapy student
As a current student, it is a great experience being part of the open day. We are able to give potential students an idea of what our course entails and answer all the questions I remember having when I was applying for the course. I would recommend coming for a look around the dental school, as we take you on a tour of UPDA's excellent facilities.
Amy Gracie, Level 5 hygiene/therapy student
I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting and greeting prospective students to UPDA on the open days, over the last few years. It has been a pleasure to share my experience and to answer an array of questions about gaining a place and studying at UPDA. My journey began at an UPDA Open Day and it was seeing the academy and talking to the staff that confirmed my choice of training institute. The Open days are therefore invaluable to any student interested in studying Hygiene and Therapy in Portsmouth.
Noelle Smith, Level 6 Hygiene/therapy student
