Biography

I am head of technical services in the Psychology Department and joined the department in 1990 having trained as an electronics engineer and worked as a television service engineer. I am responsible for the management of the department's technical support team. I am also responsible for the running of the psychophysiology laboratory, the infant laboratory and the observation suite.

My duties include:

  • Management of the department's technical support team
  • Management of departmental equipment and resources
  • Strategic planning of departmental technical requirements
  • Managing technical budgets
  • Liaising with other departments & agencies on technical issues 
  • Technical representative on departmental committees
  • Health and safety
