Biography

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Chartered and Registered as Psychologist Specialising in Psychotherapy with Senior Practitioner Status with the  British Psychological Society. I work part time here at the University, and provide an independent psychological therapy practice specialising in medico-legal assessment. 

Teaching Responsibilities

I contribute to the Issues in Clinical and Health Psychology course as well as on other BSc courses, and lead a course on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for the distance learning MSc in Applied Psychology of Intellectual Disabilities.

Research

I am a member of the International Centre for Research in Forensic Psychology (ICRFP) within the Department of Psychology. My research interests include assessment of malingering, psychological effects of road traffic accidents and post trauma reactions, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, stress at work and quality of working life.
