Research groups
There are two research groups within the Department:
Accounting and Finance Research Group
The main focus of research in this area is the relationship of the corporation with its external stakeholders, specifically through research in auditing, corporate governance and financial reporting. The research is topical and professionally relevant and has been supported by research grants from ICAEW and CIMA.
Management Accounting Research Group
The group aims to foster ands support research output that contributes to an enhancement of knowledge and understanding of the technical, contextual, behavioural and ethical role played by management accounting in the modern economy.

As well as two research groups, we can also offer support for a number of research degrees.
