Profile

Katie graduated with a BA (Hons) in Textile Design from The University of Leeds before completing an MA in Printed Textiles at The Royal College of Art. Her time at The Royal Collage of Art shaped an experimental approach to textile processes and nurtured a love for image, substrate and form. During her studies she was awarded the Osborne & Little bursary and showcased her final collection at 100% Design. Subsequent collaborative projects and prototypes have been internationally exhibited at the Saint Etienne Design Biennial.

Katie returned to The University of Leeds as a guest lecturer in Textile Design before undertaking a position at Portsmouth. Her research interests center on digital design and exploring the possibilities of printing in the third dimension.
