Profile

Dip. Arch. (Kingston) Registered Architect

I joined Portsmouth in 1992. Before that I was a principal in an architectural firm, with 15 years of experience in architectural practice. My specialisms are the relationship of architecture with landscape, and our sensory perception of space. I am an active researcher and have published a range of papers in these subject areas. I am currently writing a book on architecture and gardens, as well as being engaged in practical landscape and garden design projects.
