Profile

Mary is an Architect and Principle Lecturer, teaching Design in Studio at BA1 and Diploma levels. Mary also assists with the MA/Part 3 Final Examination in Architecture.

Mary is also the BA1 Architecture and Interior Design year Coordinator, and is responsible for all matters relating to the coordination of that year cohort, as well as for the preparation of the BA1 Design Units. Her other roles include timetabling for the department and being the School of Architectures Disability Coordinator.

Her research interests include the Practice of Architecture, Architecture and the Environment, and Student welfare.

Mary has an interest in effective design communication, and has been responsible for many innovative teaching practices relating to the design Studios. Her other interests include interior design, product design and sailing.
