I joined Portsmouth in 2008 and currently teach Architectural Design in third year Architecture (BA3) RIBA part 1 and the postgraduate Diploma (Dip 1&2) RIBA Part 2 with a focus on the integration of technology. I lead the first year postgraduate studio and a final year Design Thesis studio, in conjunction with the Project Office, specialising in developing design methodologies in practice.
Prior to this I combined teaching at Newcastle University with my practice as a consultant Architect in London. I have completed projects with Alsop Architects in the UK and EU, Clash Architects in the UK and China and Robert Lyell Architects in France. I continue my interest in practice through the School’s and work on independent architectural design projects.
