Profile

Bryony is part of the BA1 and Context teaching teams in the School of Architecture. She leads a BA1 Design Studio and co-ordinates the first year history and theory survey course, as well as teaching on other context units within the Architecture and Interior Design Undergraduate courses.

Bryony joined the School from a career in museums. She has a wide range of experience including curation and a background in ancient history. Her interests include theories of design education (particularly the integration of history in the design studio), architectural historiography (with a particular interest in the inclusion of a global history of architecture) material culture and museology.
