I joined the University of Portsmouth in February 2009 as a senior lecturer at the School of Architecture. Before moving to Portsmouth, I worked with Short and Associates Chartered Architects in London, and held a Research Associate position at the School of the Built Environment, Ulster University.
My research interest and teaching concentrate on daylighting modelling in urban spaces, visual and thermal performance of buildings, and sustainable development of historic sites. I am the author of a number of journal papers and have participated in several seminars, workshops and international refereed conferences.
