Title: APTICAMS - A Darwinian approach to Molecular Cell Nanotechnology

Abstract: Aptamers are artificial molecules selected to show high affinity and specificity for a chosen target. We have devised a method for raising DNA aptamers against living cells such as E. coli. APTICAM is our term for the products [APTamer + ICAM]. This talk will describe the method, review some of our results, and discuss potential applications and extensions of this technology.
