The Institute of Marine Sciences is working in collaboration with BSc Computer Animation undergraduate students from the School of Creative Technologies to develop a novel virtual teaching and research tool using the new IMS facility as a template.

These projects will enable visitors to the website to 'see' the new aquarium and research building by exploring the facilities within, meeting staff and look at real time data all within a virtual environment.  This is a pilot project that will hopefully be repeated for other buildings at the University.
