New academics join research and teaching team

Drs Karen Thorpe and Trevor Willis have joined the staff of the School of Biological Sciences. Both will be based at the Institute of Marine Sciences and contribute to the research on the impacts of humans on the aquatic environment.  Dr Thorpe is a fish ecotoxicologist who specialises in endocrine disruption of freshwater and marine species, whilst Dr Willis' research focuses on applied fisheries biology including marine reserves and trophic interactions.
