Students' Slapton sampling a success
Thu, 03 May 2012 15:51:00 BST

Second year BSc Marine Biology and Biology students have returned from another successful field trip at Slapton Field Studies Centre in Devon. Students had seven days of intensive marine fieldwork including sampling rocky shores at Thurlestone and Gorah Rocks and estaurine sampling on the Avon estuary. The last three days were a group mini-project in which the students chose a topic and then designed, executed, analaysed and finally presented the results to the class.
