Alex Ford and Simon Cragg's MPhil Student, Robert Mansergh, has recently taken first prize at the Young Systematist's Forum for his poster presentation, which was titled: Isolating genomic DNA from Lagenophrys tattersalli (WILLIS, 1942): a new insight into lagenophryid taxonomy. The prizes were awarded by Dr. Robert Scotland (Department of Plant Sciences, Oxford University) and Dr. Maria Vorontsova (Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew). This year prize was sponsored by Cambridge University Press.
This meeting is held annually in the Flett lecture theatre at the Natural History museum in London and is open to Master, PhD and young postdoctoral researchers working in taxonomy, systematics and phylogenetics.
Congratulations to Robert!
