Profile

Angela is a senior lecturer at the University of Portsmouth, with broad experience of database issues, and systems analysis and design.

She has varied teaching experience, including teaching at Anglia Ruskin University, the University of Portsmouth, and Oracle University.  In addition, she has worked in the IT industry in roles including analysis, design, technical support and training.

Having taught on face to face for many years (in recreational, academic, and industry settings), she now teaches exclusively via distance learning, to students at final year undergraduate, and masters levels.

She also acts as tutor for distance learning students, available via email for students wishing to discuss academic issues with a member of staff.  She is also a qualified counsellor. 

Angela's former interests include sub aqua (diving), hill walking, cycling, sailing, and writing songs.  Now with two young children, her interests tend to be children's soft play areas, going to the beach, and play parks …
