Peter Millard BSc, MSc, FHEA
With a First Class Honours degree in Sociology and a Masters in Information Systems together with 3 years experience working in the computer industry as a Systems Analyst, Peter is well placed to take an interdisciplinary approach to the study of Information and Communication Technologies.
He is Leader of the Humanities subject group. He is Unit Co-ordinator for a number of units including 'The Networked Society', 'Work and the Information Society' and 'Mobile Futures'.
Peter is a member of the School's Humanities and Computing Research Group and his current research interests focus particularly on the sociological and organisational implications of mobile phones, CMC (Computer Mediated Communication), cyberculture and E-commerce.
