Profile

BA (Tel Aviv) MA (Goldsmiths) PhD (Westminster)

I have been teaching film studies on a part time basis on the TVFP course for several years and have joined as a full time member in 2009. I teach contextual studies across TVFP and Animation course and on some of the practical units of TVFP. I have a BA in political science and an MA in documentary film.

My main research interests are documentary film theory and issues of memory, migration and national identity in cinema. Specifically, my research so far has concentrated primarily on the Middle East. I am currently working on Palestinian and Israeli cinema, a research that stems out of my PhD Thesis and on theorising Animation documentary.
