Simon Rushby was appointed to the School on the 6^th January 05 when the building first opened as the Senior Specialist Technician, after completing a long and distinguished career in the Royal Navy as a weapons specialist. The last 3 years of service he spent retraining as a Biomedical engineer. His achievements include an HNC and Diploma in Electronical Engineering and a National Vocational Qualification level IV in management. Having a broad knowledge of Information Technology and audiovisual systems also, the Role of Specialist Technician is very well suited to his present and background knowledge.
