Profile

Mr Sparrius qualified in South Africa and completing an MSc (Enamel and Dentine bonding agents) from the University of the Witwatersrand. He has  publications in internationally recognised journals and in 1995 he presented a paper at the FDI conference in Hong Kong.

He moved to the UK in April 2002 and worked in various UK dental practices. He was naturalised as a citizen of the United Kingdom in 2007.

Since 2009 Mr Sparrius has been employed as a Dental tutor at the University of Portsmouth Dental Academy. He lectures Therapy student and has a particular interest in Minimal Intervention Dentistry. Most recently he has completed his PG certificate in higher education and is now a member of FHEA.
