MSc Business Economics
The course is aimed at graduates who have taken degrees such as Economics, Business Economics, or Accounting and Finance. It is also suitable for strong graduates in Business who would like to complement their background with an economics specialisation. The course aims to prepare students for the challenging environments associated with jobs in the financial and business sectors by concentrating on applied aspects of business economics rather than the theoretical approach.
MSc Business Economics, Finance and Banking
This specialist programme has been designed for students who would like to further their knowledge of economics, finance or accounting and extend it in the direction of banking and financial forecasting. The course concentrates on applied aspects of economics, finance and banking rather than the theoretical approach and it will enable students to evaluate the relevance of economic theories and principles and how they can explain the existence, nature and operation of retail, wholesale and international banking.
MA Economics for Business
Designed for non-economics graduates who want to pursue a career where the skills of business economics will be important and for those who are currently working in business who wish to expand their knowledge. The course will provide you with the competences needed to be able to apply economic principles to the solution of business problems. You will gain an understanding of business decisions and strategy, particularly in connection with corporate finance, pricing, product analysis and advertising. The principles of investment appraisal are also covered, as applied to investment projects in both the developed and developing countries.
MA International Business and English
Designed especially for those for whom English is not their first language, this course will prepare you for working in an international environment where communication in English is desirable or essential.
