Dr Alexandros Apostolakis BSc (Plymouth), MSc (Portsmouth), PhD (Portsmouth)
Dr. Apostolakis joined the department of Economics as a lecturer in October 2005. His main teaching areas are in applied economics, managerial, industrial and business economics. He also teaches on the economics of technical innovation and change.
Dr. Apostolakis's research interests include discrete choice methods, cultural and tourism economics and management, survival analysis and local and regional economics. He has published in a number of academic journals including the Annals of Tourism Research, the Journal of Travel Research, and Tourism Economics. He acts as a regular reviewer for Tourism Economics, Tourism Management, and the Anatolia Journal.
Office Hours:
Wednesdays 11.00 – 12.00, Thursdays 10.00 – 11.00 and other times by appointment.
