PhD studentship: Numerical Simulation of Turbulence-Flame Interaction and Emissions from Alternative Fuels

Applications are invited for a three-year PhD studentship in the area of numerical simulation of turbulent combustion applied to emissions from alternative fuels. The successful applicant will join the Thermo-Fluid, Petroleum and Energy Engineering Research Group in the School of Engineering at Portsmouth University.
The studentship will fully cover University tuition fees at home/EU level and will provide a tax-free bursary of £13,590 per year for a three-year duration.
